Also was the EGR and timing cover. I kept the ones from this motor. That includes the water pump. While trying to listen with the stethescope...I'm not hearing anything.

Charger been removed, cleaned and reassembled.
Good news bad news. I heard and felt some ugliness in the nose drive.
And hopefully I fixed the leak..(used enough gasket maker to stop 5 leaks.

Some grinding yes..not sure if that'* the cause of the KR.. we'll find out. My super deluxe magnetic plug was collecting quite a bit of goo.
Some people need more pages..What can we say.

I thought the Gen V was rebuilt. But now I realize that couldn't have been the case.
It was just disassembled for polishing/porting. Hopefully you found your problem...and if not, hopefully it won't take much to fix it.

Too late Tony..
It stole my heart. Starting to see some low level KR again once it'* 10 minutes down the highway. I'm honestly going to go back under the car and look for anything rattling.
It must be false. Oil pressure is great, although I'm pretty sure the sender is a little wonky..mostly good though.

edit: Did you ever get that Carfax? What did it say about the car from an accident perspective?

Carfax..no. Got some dealer info and the car wasn't white. That fact kept me going for days.
The little KR I'm seeing is at less than 5% throttle. Simply cruising and inconsistent. I took the car to work this morning I'm at about 80 miles on the new motor and it ran rough at idle which would usually be a vacuum leak. I'll be going over the vac lines Again..lol
Took if out on a bit of an endurance run last night. Oil pressure and all systems are 100% go.
My first priority is get that KR in the rearview and start tuning it further.
