Doug....Mine may not run for long...but it runs and drives when it does...
It'll rise again..I may have to wait on a couple parts..but it'll be worth it.

I guess we'll just cross our fingers and hope the third time'* a charm!
Way to keep your head up through all this stuff... It has to be tough to remain positive. You'll get that motor running one way or another.
And just to triple check... there'* no part of that oil pressure kit that could be, in any way, screwing up your oil pressure at low RPM?

JK Bill. you seem cool and collected. Thank god you have the cashflow to get back up and running quickly......
Heck, I would still be saving for a new piston at this point, taking the bus and train to work

He didn't yell at me once or blame the failure on me.
Well Bill,
I'm right behind you... I have a L36 to L67 swap going on in my garage right now, I'll let you knw how it goes because the L67 is from New York and really that just means we don't know squat about that motor.
Bill, don't install that oil pressure thingy yet, get the motor tried and true first. Just for sanity sake.
BTW, I have the oil pressure thingy Intense sells and I also use it for my remote oil filter relocation stuff.

Pete...it'* all your darn fault. Sabotaging my car merely because of jealousy over a series 2...that'* low.
Matt...right on my S2 brother.
Tony..it'* not about cashflow..it'* about debt level.
Thomas...The cam and oil pressure bump kit will go in before the motor goes into the car. I thought about it again last night. I'd need to jack up the car body... support the engine and lower the subframe to do the cam etc in the car because there is no lower mount holding the engine to the frame at that end. Ppressure didn't hurt a thing, it probably caused me to ....oh.. that'* what you are saying. F it.. at this point..it'* going in. Tearing out a motor only takes 2 hours. WTheck is taking you guys so long to get this swap done?
Randman stopped over last night and we had the motor out and on the stand in under 2 hours. Within another hour and a half..it was stripped and loaded on the truck. Funny how once you pull springs on one cylinder and the air to hold up the next valves is applied....the valves get smacked and come back up...hehe...
