I didnt tack weld my EM'* before grinding the stock welds out...they still look solild..but..hope im not hooped.

Did some cleaning tonight
Used a copper scrubbing pad and wd40 on the rotors, they were gunked up really well.
Good to go now though!

yup the only coating mine had was simply, carbon, lol
After work, i am going to focus on some porting work on the LIM so I can atleast get the top end back together. The 2.2 is schedualed here tomorrow, and will be installed once the SC is back on the car.

If you got ANY debris or solvent in those needle bearings for the rotor shafts, or if the grease remaining in there is nasty, or if there'* little remaining, replace those needle bearings NOW. Don't let it go. You'll regret it if you overlook it at this point.

I made a VERY good point of not getting anything on that grease, there is still a fair ammount of it. Nice and blue. Not overly worried about them yet.
