I am so relieved that the plate was the issue. Amazing that it was one of, if not the first things that you questioned. We've all been there and said, well, that went on, but it sure didn't feel right.

I wasn't scared...
Dan put those plug wires on... lol I found it...He was trying to rush me.
Chris..thank you again for all the help.
By 9pm it was in and running again. No vibration and no issues.
All I have now is tweak the throttle cable bracket, put the fans back in and top things off.
I did the "impossible" 180 flywheel bolted up nice.
I'm tired again ....shower and bed.. will get vids and things once it'* together and running w/o holding throttle shut etc.

It runs very smooth, even with the cam. But it sounds mean
You should of seen us with the ignition wires. We even threw the compression gauge on there just for the heck of it Eh, we were tired and thought we did everything right. Go figure. At least the engine wasn't wobbling
No problem Bill, you are very welcome, any time.
Edit: By the way, don't forget to tighten those two bolts on the pass. torque axis mount, and whatever else Dan said to tighten down.
Off to bed.
Chris

It shouldn't have been possible to bolt it up like that. Somehow..I started each of those bolts by hand for at least a turn. A couple felt a little tighter than others, heck..there'* loctite on them.
In the end, 180 off on the flywheel. Chris took the pics and I'll get them up. We've got motor out of car. Flywheel marked to crank position and then where it ends up 180 degrees around.
Time to sit back and relax while finishing it up.
The pitch of the whine is different. Distinctly different like comparing the M62 and the M90 Gen 3. Sounded like music.
