They are fine for DD. I've been running mine for over a 2 years.

Tomorrow the struts should be done. At the same time or this weekend the LSD will go back into the trans and the water pump will go on.

You know.. I was looking at this with Olds and Buick guys this weekend and we all believe it won't work with the stock 97 tensioner as it appears the PS is in the way of the crank for the belt path.

The 00'* had a piece that bolts onto the motor and then the PS bolts to it. Offset is about 1". I picked one up at the yard this weekend and am ready to roll.

Oh..and a 3.0 pulley..or maybe a 2.8 will hop on the car as well. When in tunerville.. one must put on the goodies to tune.

Is there a set or somewhat predicted lifespan on the waterpump motor? If damaged can the motor be serviced or does the entire unit have to be replaced?

Meziere says 3000 hours and yes it can be serviced.
