That ugly EGR will heat up your intake. :o
It will be interesting to compare inlet temps now since we have the indentical probe locationi.
My guess is it will be significant. Hope you didn't plug your coolant passages.

The one or two pounds won't slow me down enough to worry. Temps will be nice to know..if it works. Being low cost, I believe the aeroforce can be made to work with it.
As for plugging coolant passages, you are aware that I have a Northstar throttle body???

There isn't enough coolant there to do anything.
However being that I can program out my EGR and that the adapter plate for a Northstar doesn't have coolant availability.. I'm all set. The EGR is there for either use or looks, the coolant passages have been blocked at the intake since they are no use to this setup.
With EGR functioning on my other setup..I blocked coolant ports with no noticable temp changes at all. The only thing having an EGR seems to do is allow your intake tract to get dirty quicker. Once you port/polish the SC...it all slides right through anyway.
