Let me mention this.. there is no rush to get this done.
I have a second vehicle to drive and there is absolutely no rush if anything is discovered when this comes apart. I will be doing a ton of inspection and review. Part of the reasoning behind my pulling the motor instead of lowering the subframe is to take my time and have better access to everything.
This car has been an example to point other members to as far as sequence of events to put more power under the hood on a higher mileage/older vehicle.
Maintenance
Suspension and braking
Transmission
Fueling/electrical upgrades
Power adders to engine
It is key to have a good running vehicle to start.
Your suspension/braking needs to be thought of before there is too much power for handling/stopping the vehicle.\
Power is no good if you have a weakpoint between it and the ground.
Fuel and electrical systems should be partially covered under maintenance, however possibly upgraded to ensure no issues.
This is where I am now. With the parts, a tuner, and a vendor that backs their products if I need support of any type. Add a few friends, pizza and a couple of beers (for the buddies)...you have a good thing.

Truck is due back tonight. Motor pulling may be sooner than some think.
That will leave the w/e days for actual work on it and possible install. (Haha..Tony might be right about running early)

Sounds like the fun will soon be underway. Don't forget our daily update of progress with pics.
Is there a timeline or estimate to complete the work?

Being realistic, I should have it back up and running by next weekend. (Under promise, over deliver)
