Better-than-stock lifters are available from INTENSE and ZZP for less than OEM.

You also failed to list painting your car green. You would benefit greatly from that.

Green only increases aerodynamics. Yellow adds horsepower! And the color that is a performance must.....WHITE! It'* like a 200 shot of NOS

Maybe it'* just me. I could be wrong. :P

It is not worth it for what you save.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but I used my 120,000 mile lifters on a freshly reground cam. I didn't even keep track of which lifter came out of which bore! The car still runs fine, with a normal amount of metal shavings at each oil change. I think it can be done without problems. It may not be the best practice, but I feel he'll be alright.

Kathy... I'll leave the green with envy for you. Car will remain black.

As for the lifters, I've done the research and asked many that changed cams etc. Heck..my original list had lifters and pushrods. There was a lot of information that I gathered and processed to determine what was going into the engine.

As for the wealthy part..lol Anyone remember the retread part of a tire I ran over. By doing some of the work on the bumper myself, I'm able to spend that money in other parts of the car.

Oh.. I forgot to list solid front motor mount.

Looks real good so far, Bill!

It'll be good to see the numbers when you're done.

Picked up a couple more parts recently.

Water outlet and the wiring for another DLC/PCM wiring. Seems that like PDad..I could program inside with a second pcm if I wanted.
