P&P, not overly. With the Gen V being more efficient, there is less material to P&P. The castings were smoothed and cleaned up. There are not bolt bosses to remove, or any serious material to go after. More of a smoothing/polishing than anything else.
The Northstar is new and comes from an Ebay seller PowerFiero, CHEAP. The N* to GV adapter plate, coupler, wiring adapters and maf come from Brian Teel over at L67swap (fits and matches perfectly.)
Some may notice the clap by the Maf is out of place. I ordered the wrong size Tbolt clamps and need to get a couple in one size smaller.

I didn't hear about him backing out. Although it did appear like he was getting out. It'* a shame, it'* a great quality kit for a good price.

Ok.. The tuner is on it'* way and things are coming together quickly.
Looks like the parts will be going in/on the w/e of the 30th. Any suggestions are welcome.
I'm changing the springs, lifters, timing set, cam, oil pan... the list goes on. My first thought has been to pull the motor. I know that I can have it out in 3-4 hours max, an engine stand is easy to borrow for a couple days.
Realizing all this work can be done in the car.. I'm figuring it would be easier to have it out and easily accessible. After all...I will need to drain the fluids and lower the subframe or pull the motor.
I've seen cam install tools etc.. should I bother? Anyone that has done them, let'* hear the suggestions and tricks on installing and doing a timing set.

Wow...have I been missing out on a lot of stuff on the forum. Your parts list is almost identical to what I'm running in my car right now, except for the gen V blower. It'* a solid setup and shouldn't give you any problems.
With the motor out of the car installing a cam is a piece of cake. There'* just a few things that you need to watch out for. You'll need a new cam sprocket bolt and new harmonic balancer bolt if you don't already have them since both are torque to yield. Make sure you rinse all of the new parts with mineral spirits to remove any crap left over from the manufacturing process. And lastly, use plenty of assembly lube on the cam and don't force it into the motor. A scored cam bearing will ruin your day. The timing gears are straight forward also. Just put them on while the heads are off so you can visibly see that cyl. #1 is at top dead center.
After you get the car running again your tuner will be your best friend. The S1x combined with an LQ4 maf makes the car run VERY rich. My LTFT'* were between -21-23% before I started tuning.
Good luck. Let me know if you need anything.

Updating the updatable.
Working out a fueling issue that has been making me unhappy for a while and the Tuner is enroute. Once those two things are in place and good...the work will being.
Til then.. $#^%&@^!@ Fueling

See, now that'* all just crazy talk and stuff....
But seriously, I'm sure that I'm not alone in wishing I could be there to help and be part of this build-up. It'* well thought out and I'm sure it will yield good results.

Tuner is in.. installed. Awaiting the unlock email and then it'* off to start recording and looking at files.
Working on the fueling issue and determining what it "needs". It'll be installed and then the magic starts happening.
In the meantime, there is no way any performance parts go on the car until the current issue is resolved. The best way to have a successful build up is to be in tip top shape before the next piece is on.
(In case you are wondering.. it SUCKS to be dealing with this fuel issue.... I want to put some performance on the car)
