I tried jacking up my car. I didn't want to dig out my floor jack, so I just used the scissor jack (properly). It worked, but I heard more creaking than I saw lifting, so I put the car down. Then my passenger door was stuck closed, so I ended up having to pry the quarter-panel to get the door to work again.

I dug out my floor jack, and lifted from the subframe, behind the control arm. But, when looking at the bushings, it looked like the car was going up while the control arm was staying on the ground. Since I was on a bad luck streak, I put the car down and walked away thoroughly embarrassed.

Back in the day, I lifted my Bonneville from the radiator support once, and it didn't even flinch! I lift this GP from the appropriate points, and things go down the tubes!

I kinda did the same thing with my Bonneville a couple months ago. Tried to lift behind the front wheel(at the designated lift spot) and all I heard was crunch.

those plastic ramps are nice for lower front wheel drive cars. i used to hate those things when i only had rwds, they slip too much but the fwd ones are fine

Actually no, the puppy likes to sit in that pot and dig out the dirt. That'* why there are no plants in it.
