Thanks Nick, not sure if everyone else noticed, but since I moved a few posts from that thread, it seemed to be having issues. So we decided to lock it and start a new one. Same theme as before. Just a newer version.

Had a flat tire today.. called the shop, he told me to stop in whenever. I showed up in 10 minutes and he plugged the screw hole in the tire. cost me 10.55 i thought it was fair.

Mike 07-10-2012 02:38 PM

Did he use a plug, or did he patch the inside of the tire?

MouSe 07-10-2012 02:45 PM

On a Vette? Most likely a plug because the tires are considered low-profile.

way to break it mike, im looking for victory red 74U paint in a rattle can

Mike 07-10-2012 05:04 PM

Look for an auto paint store in you area. They should be able to put your color in a can for ya Sarah.

Buick96 07-10-2012 08:02 PM

yea car quest can, but i really want this grill done professionally, i think i got a guy

MouSe 07-10-2012 08:48 PM

Trust me when I say this...

Get it done professionally. I did mine myself and it's already starting to flake. Good thing is, I know it's my fault from prepping it wrong.

Mike 07-10-2012 08:53 PM

No big deal, we all learn from our mistake. Good thing with paint is, you can actually erase it.
