Been a while since I posted! Changed a valve body and PC solenoid (in the car) on an 05 Buick Allure today (aka Lacrosse in the USA). Of course it had to have the 3.6L in it with that PITA exhaust system that gets in the road. Went good and fixed the problem but was a bear of a job. Then to top it off I had to change the shift cable, and it had a floor shift too so that too was a real peach of a job. Got brushed up on the swear words anyway...

Then got asked to stay late and do a 4 wheel brake job, 4 tires and a few other odds and ends on a used 2007 DTS that'* going out saturday, may as well take it when you can get it so I stayed and got it done, just got home around 7:30.

The snow is on the ground here now, feels like my truck is driving on a skating rink so I'll have to get a good set of snow tires on it before too long. Supposed to get down to -16C/3F tonight and a high of -9/15F tomorrow, sounds like winter is here!
