You and me both man.

Just late yesterday, I'm told that my S10 VSS is not compatible with the Express software. So now I have to go out and buy a new one. Which was causing my no TCC lockup.

here was my fun project for the day after work. axle nut was seized, then the bearing was seized. after using a 10lb sledge and a pipe to turn it, i finally was able to get the holes off center enough to get the damned thing off by putting the bolts in backwards to press itself out. also noticed both of her axle boots are leaking grease. friggin phenomenal

so while im waiting for a new oil pressure gauge to come, i decided to get a inside mounted vacuum gauge and a/f monitor. so now i need a good place to put 5 gauges. i started working on a center pod mount for 3 gauges/switches and radio/HU, and i got a a-pillar pod for engine and trans temp. also started put my speakers in and hooked up the radio. havent had anything to listen to besides the engine in many years

finished up my oil pressure gauge, radio install. my a/f gauge says as i was thinking its way rich, but the vacuum gauge has threaded brass fittings instead of a vacuum fittings and you are supposed to set the idle for max vacuum first so im going to have to figure that out. i got a trans temp gauge too and after stripping the pressure gauge in the port, having to lower the trans back out, finally got the threads out and try to stick the temp sender in and only goes half way in. wtf. i plugged the hole with a bolt so i could drive the car but now im going to have to figure out how to make that work too

Last Sat. I traded my 2011 Cruze in for 2005 Vette. Drove back 4 1/2 hours back from the dealership. I had no problems with the car (except GPS didn't work) and knocked down 28 mpg going 72 mph most of the time.

not something that is typically done. but i would rather drive a 28mpg vette i think too

i spent the day trying to get my firebird ready for safety inspection tomorrow and trying to get my part throttle cruise tune dialed in. the a/f gauge is reading different than the engine feels like it wants. when it feels right it reads like 11.5

today, i worked on the scooter and replaced the hi beams in impy. lauren wants to ride on the back of my scooter. i dont like bending my arms like a damned dinosaur to accommodate that. so im going to build a seat where the luggage rack/ trunk used to mount. today i got the wood cut, (albeit very shitty looking because i only had a circular saw and a drill) tomorrow im gonna go to joann fabrics and get some foam and fake leather and maybe some spacers to raise the seat up a bit.

i also got sick of the stock headlights sucking. so i went and spent a few bucks at walmart on these led fog lights. which i am now thinking about getting for my car.
