You said and I quote, "a GTP barely got outa your way at Byron." By saying that it looks like your telling people that your car is close to the speed of a stock GTP. Then you contradicted yourself and said that a "a GTP can run a 14 second pass - stock". They you refrase yourself and say that is only "in a GTP with no headlight, no backseat, spare, etc." So what are you saying that with those things done that will drop you over a sec in the quarter? Come on! A GTP will run a hi 14 off the showroom floor!
BonnieMeMN, don't believe me? Get me a stock low mileage GTP and a dragstrip for a few hours, and I'll prove it to you.

The 2.5 piping and N10 exhaust are good for maybe 5hp over stock. And you can't outflow that exhaust anyway. But an SSEi could. No gearing advantage whatsoever. The ratio'* are so close together, it means nothing.
I took your dare
your right an SSE that weigh the same as a SSEi is going to be slower... im not an idiot. Im saying that the SE/SLE has an weight advantage over the SSEI
where is the calculator??? how much weight equals a tenth a sec and so forth

What Don posted on the previous page sums it up nicely. The only difference is the N10 muffler on the 93 SLE. The muffler. And no, 93SLE, the N10 doesn't outflow the exhaust they put on a forced-induction car. The SSEi muffler is larger, and a crossflow design. The L67 cars flow ALOT more exhaust, which is why you don't see an N10 offered for the L67.
This topic started out innocently enough. Someone posted some questionable data, and when people disagreed, he flipped out. It happens every now and then. We move on, we learn, and nobody'* opinions change.

im done debating this crap....just because people drive an */C car they think that is it superior ( you know who you are) wether it is said in a joking manner "oppress the N/A" or whatever it is. who is going to get there a$$ out there with a stock SSEI and run the damn car. noone that has a stock SSEi has posted a time slip so what do they run in the real world NOONE KNOWS. the only people that are debating are people that have modified cars. who wants to run there SSEI with my car or zias'* SLE?? then we can talk who beat who

On a side note -did anyone know that if you remove the cat from a 1992/1993 SE/SLE with the N10 muffler it sounds like the exhaust is being exited into a pool of water? Very unique. That was how people could tell I was driving through the neighborhood in my old 1992 SE. Price for the unique sound was a loss of torque (and pollutions).
Hmm, that'* one way to filter the polution? Fill the exhaust filtering water at each fill of gas.

It is statistically proven that a SC 3800 is faster than a NA 3800. It'* been proven by the automakers and by reviewers. It is backed up by the owners. What proof do you want. I think all of this should be dropped.
