And that 98 has gotten a lot faster!! (Allmachtige'* beast).
Hey, all 4 Bonnevilles at Woodburn in July beat 3 or 4 dragsters. None of them kept in the power for the full run.
But we beat them just the same
I'm with most here however. I feel that in all the generations, there is a marked difference between the SC and NA models being compared, that a simple intake and exhaust job cannot overcome.

Rogue you bring up great points! BUT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
With different cars and different engines they all launch, react, and drive differently. So that leaves the driver with a huge responsibility of knowing how to drive the car. So if you put that into the formula, Yes, Jason COULD have a chance to beat a stock SSEi. BUT when a person says, "I'm confident i could take a Stock 93 SSEi". That comes off as if his car is faster then a stock SSEi. You have to compare them apples to apples or in other words car to car. If I race the INTENSE turbo car on the street and let my grandma drive. And I'm in my van with 250,000+ ! Could I take her? Ya probably since you factor in the drivers. Is my van faster then the turbo car? NO (Did I even have to answer this?) If you don't anyone I could say, "I'm confident I could take the INTENSE turbo car". Is it possible?, Ya I guess with the right circumstances and the right driver!
Is it going to happen? NO

I'm not saying that Jason'* car is the fastest thing on the planet or even close. Is he the fastest L27? Until someone posts a timeslip to the contrary i'd say he is. Is he faster then an SSEi, i'd say it depends on the condition of the SSEi. On paper is his car faster then a great condition SSEi i'd say no way. But again, the real world is not paper.
I find it interesting that at times this board and its members will back a wild claim that doesnt make sense with no proof but turns around and criticizes a member with 7000 posts who has videos and timeslips. I can easily see how Jason could misconstrue these posts as personal in nature against him. The only way to really settle this will be to have Jason run against a stock SSEi and until that happens we can speculate and tabulate and assume whatever we want and Jason can do the same.
