Need some sub advice
The reason active is more efficient is because the amp isn't amplifying signals your speakers won't use, unlike passive. In most cases the SQ ends up being alot better along with it because the sound processor in an active setup is far superior to what can be found in passive xovers.
Yea mine is fully loaded except for liquid cooling. How many cu ft is your enclosure? Mine is 3 cu ft tuned to 35 hz. Ive put 2300w rms to it for a while and it took the power with no problems what so ever. Now it is getting 1100w rms
not this exact amp but 3 A3000db (which i have) were bench tested and all did around 3100 watts rms at 17v. when i had it at 1 ohm it was in my buddies Trailblazer which held steady at about 15v
here is the guy that bench tested em. I have talked to him and its legit.
