No thanks. I've heard nothing but horror stories of people trying to use Holley Commanders and total custon sensors throughout a Northstar. To many parameters/sensors and why GM locked these PCM'*. Add to that the interaction between the PCM and the TCM, learn procedures, Variable timing, T/C, advanced ABS, DIC, Onstar, HUD, Monsoon headunit, built in carphone with voice recognition and computer generated voice feedback, accelerometers, yaw sensors, StablTrack, MagnaSteering, ABS, T/C, automatic ride control, yada, yada..... (I'm sure I forgot some things, I'll leave her sexy, everything functioning, and slightly under powered self alone. TY, but no TY. There will be another car for me in the future.

nah... i developed the nAst1 code with the Northstars in mind(hence the 400-8400 RPM VE and Spark tables), so the only thing after that is controlling the 4T80, which i'll likely do with a bit of custom coding on the $0D/31/0E masks...
i'm interested in seeing where you can take yours though...

Haha, I want to buy a MS3 and expansion board so I can have (damn near) unlimited I/Os.
On a side note, the megasquirt is running fantastic. It'* to the point where somebody could sit in my car, fire it up and drive it around and have no clue that the original ECM isn't there. Except of course that the Tach still isn't working. I need to install an inline variable resistor to get it just right.

Yesterday the turbo went off to have the internal wastegate ported and a 2.5 V-band welded on to the exhaust flange. When I get it back, we can finally start installation.

I went to install the turbo tonight and got it about halfway done removing the old turbo when I realized that they use different oil return adapters. So, I put it all back together and I'm off to ebay to order the correct fitting. Needless to say, I'm disappointed.
But some good news. I got my turbo pieces back from the welder.
