I'll probably finish putting this cylinder head together tomorrow night, then wrap it and set it aside. I still have to deal with the timing chain and gears, as well as the water pump. I want the front of the engine done before these heads go back on. After they go on, I'll get started on the LIM and SC.

The last of the work should go quickly. The work I've done for other cars over the winter has developed my techniques and should make these last two go quickly and smoothly.

Yes, practice makes perfect, and you've had plenty of that with all the polishing and porting you've been doing.
An honour to have been one of your test cases.

Hoping to get my magnetic SC plug installed today and the bearings out of my next nosedrive. We'll see if the schedule permits. The only thing holding me back right now is the header coating, but that'll get here in plenty of time.

spraying it on this time?, itgives a very nice finish when done that way, but boy does it ever smoke when you get exhaust heat to it for the first time

Keep in mind the rear cylinder head is done already.

Spent today working on the front head, as well as a few other parts:

The only thing I don't have is the crossover to rear manifold donut. It'll be in tomorrow afternoon at NAPA.

ALMOST ready to start reassembling.

Still need to port/polish/rebuild the new LIM matched to the ported heads and the new hybrid SC. All parts are here for that work, too.
