I predict another short beer break soon (aka 3 or 4 beers)...
Looking good! You and Boosty are going to start make me wanting to tear down my motor for hte heck of it.
Good work!!

That torque converter has a little magic in it.
That'* from the Zilla'* bulletproof trans build last year.
Last pics for the day (unless I take pics of the packages I need to go pick up right now):
Oil pan back on:

HB back on:

Most of today'* tools:

What'* this?

I'm officially done under the car with respect to the motor running and the car driving. I'll be back under there again later for some suspension upgrades.

The dents on the pan aren't anywhere near the oil pickup. And my windage tray is welded in place. Knocking dents out isn't possible.
There are 4 gauges total. Some aren't here yet. 2 replacements, two new. Just picked up a package with some suspension parts from ZiLLA Motorsports East, too.
Bizzy'd myself this evening after work. Started by working more on my wiring harnesses and re-looming them all. Nearly done now.
But for starters, what'* THIS??????

More info on that later.
Working on the wiring harness and new looms:

Then on to the rear cylinder head. This includes prepping and cleaning the block and cylinder head:

Now on to a new project. New sender for replacing my old mechanical trans temp sender. This new electrical sender goes with the new gauges.

This is what the new sender replaced. Why the adapters?

The adapters were because of the over-large size of the old mechanical sensor:

Final shot of how she sits tonight:

Oh * H I T ! I forgot one!

And what'* THIS?????

(one gauge not pictured due to backorder)

Oh ****! Its getting close now!
You will be fine without that piston I think, might cause a lil KR though down the road.
I dont even wanna KNOW what that rear o2 bung is for on a car with no freaking REAR o2, and..that REAR o2 sensor you have sittin there
Odd.
lol
