I was wondering if anyone has put in a CAI and has the compressor over in the corner by the intake like I do? And if so, what filter did you use?

It just doesnt seem possible that a 6.5"x8"x5 filter will wedge itself in there with that compressor in the way.

Look down. Is your compressor in the same location as mine? Granted, this isn't an Autozone pipe (ADTR custom pipe), but I helped DrJay install a Civic pipe on his 93SSEi and encountered no fit problems.

You install the filter with the long axis going vertical, and the short axis going horizontal That'* the beauty of it. More surface area, and no extra width.

I don't see a problem. But check first. I'm sure someone around here is running the RX-4750 on a civic pipe in a Series 2.

If it'* in the way... move it.

I moved my horn up the fender about 8" to make room for a CAI box. Look around in there. There is probably other mounting points you can use in the same area that are out of the way.

I would move it if I could find some room, it seem to have it'* own little suspension system under it. Once I get all my CAI components I'll dig into it. Maybe I'll try to get some pics of what I'm talkin about.

Well, Mine (although a different year) is back to the left in the picture. That alnoe gave me room to install a CAI. When I relocated the horn I found a second mounting point, identicle to the first (even in the smallest details,) farther up the fender. I wouldn't be suprised if it can mount easily wher other years have it at.

Same year, you just have a Series I SC L27. I have the Series II N/A L36.

Duh, Then I would most definetly guess you could relocate it to where mine is (same place it is in Willwrens sig).
