Will the rice pipe option work on a 98 SSEi ? What is the best K&N filter to use for this set up ? Will I need a coupler from the TB to the pipe ?

I have read most of the "intake" threads , but most everyone is talking about 92-95 vehilcles, or if it is 96+, its usually N/A . The other reason I asked is because I have the black box there instead of the washer resivior, wasn't sure if there was a difference & if the TB was a different size either.

if you're an SII guy, just be warned that you're going to need about a 4 inch to 3 inch coupler. i had a 3.5, very flexible, and it took two people about 10-15 minutes (and some very sore thumbs) to get it on the throttle body. the 4 would still prolly stretch to get on, but not nearly as bad. i'd take pics to demonstrate, but there'* no way i'm taking it back off, now that it'* on...

Nobody makes a complete kit. 2000SilverBullet may have the best aftermarket option.
