A few vacuum leaks developed and I just put the i/c back on for the last time. Now it will either seal or I'll ditch it. I put a gasket in b/t the plates and siliconed the crap out of every darn surface. I even put a skim coat all the way around the perimeter where the plates come together. It'* very ugly now, so I will NOT be posting any more pics!
I'll let it sit over night before I try to crank it. I'll type the results tomorrow.

I finally fixed the rear fuel rail leak. The AN weld fitting got warped a little when I welded it and I've tried everything to seal it. Finally I noticed it was not round at the opening, but slightly egg-shaped. I have a steel tool that is used for top engine cleaning service. It is basically a small steel funnel to fit into different size vacuum hoses. I set the tool in the fitting and smacked the tool a couple times and voila, it set the fitting round again! Now, no more leaks.
I hope tomorrow I can say the same thing about the i/c. If not, I am going to get a 2.75" thick hunk of wood and just machine it as a spacer, no i/c for now. I have to have something under htere, the t.b. won;t clear the exhaust pipe without it.

Weel, the engine is great, the trans is not. I now see the prssure manifold has different outputs! I didn;t see it before....
The trans starts out in 4th, shifts to 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd. It doesn't matter what manual position I am in, D, 3, 2, or1, it shifts just the same.
Turboscharged400, please help!
I am thinking if removing the wires from the pressure outputs and seeing what it does. The PCM will probably go to a limp shift mode, but at least the shift solenoids will be sequenced properly (I think...)

4T80 prsssure outputs are P,R,N,D4,D3 in two positions and D4, D3 in one output where 4T65 is only D4, D3, and D2 individual outputs.
What if I just run without the TFP switch wires? Will it go into limp home mode and stick in 2nd gear?
