Your. Car. Rules.
I think there'* nothing better than when something like this succeeds. There have been many engine swaps, mods, and such, but this is by far my favorite. And now, you're going to take it all apart again and mod some more, right? Please come to WCBF. EDIT: And the other BFs too.

Well, WC stands for West Coast. Sorry. But hey, I'm east of the Mississippi river!!!
Be sure to get the transmission taken care of so you can drive the car "properly."

Well, for the most part, this project is nearly complete. I will be plumbing the intercoolers this week. I have a Sureflo pump and I like to use a small a/c condensor as a heat exchanger (most are double pass). I have yet to tune the engine for high boost/high hp. I'd say it'* making about 300whp on ~10psi combined (5psi turbo, the remainder added by the */c). Running around in 3rd gear now, the turbo will spool up to 5psi as low as 2500rpm!!!! The dual BB and .96 a/r combine for a killer boost curve! I plan to try smaller */c pulleys, too. I am thinking a 3.4 pulley will really wake up the turbo and help it get to speed even quicker as I slowly raise the turbo boost pressure. Remember, my goal is 500whp on less than 24psi (I hear that'* when the stock h.g'* fail with ARP head studs).
I also need to "tune" the transmission. I ordered a chip adapter from Moates so I can realtime tune the tcm with my emulator and Tunercat RT software. Here are the latest pictures. Once I get the i/c system running, I'll have dyno numbers for you.
Turbo and charge-air pipe:
LS1 MAF (not being used, yet):
Good shot of 8-rib 3.8" pulley and wood intercooler.
Another angle on the 8-rib set-up, a prototype arrangement from SFPH Dial-Ur-Boost (DUB) Thanks, Terry!
Mess of wires for pcm/tcm, it'll be much cleaner once I get it all harnessed back together and build a box for them!
Larger trans cooler
Modified oil cap for breather duty, I want to run it into the air filter "lid" and will do so eventually.
Wastegate works flawlessly! Goes to 5psi and stays flat no matter the rpm!
K&N filter was a tight fit, had to cut away all the core support in front of it and still had to bend it a tad get it over the turbo flange!
BOV spring was too tight, no BO, but I found a lighter spring that starts to opn at about 22"hg, perfect for high rpm/high vacuum blow-off with no leakage at idle.
16x8" McLaren Turbo GP wheels have the perfect offset for the Bonne! It looks like a Nextel Cup car with it'* bulging fenders!

Real nice set up Jeff.
16 x 8" Wow, that'* the perfect size.
My Firebirds are 15 x 8 but the SSEi is only 17 x 7 1/2
Are you going to install a heat sheild around the Turbo exhaust housing :?:
You know, you need to.

If there is an EMBF (East of the Mississippi Bonneville Fest), it'* probably in the NE or SE area. Since you're in Georgia, you're more likely to attend the Floridian meets and such. I would have to travel out of state (Indiana) to get to meets in Ohio, the New England area, and so on. Something must be done about this!
