I sold that turbo for $100-more than I paid for it... on ebay!
Sorry! But great to see you've profited like this. I hope the poor dude who won that auction doesn't destroy his engine after the bearings lock up, break out of the housing, and fly through the intake. Good choice on the quality turbocharger.

I called it what it was, a chinese knock-off turbo. I did a couple things to it to help it live, mainly added real holddown straps to the turbine bolts that hold on the turbine hsg. And took it all apart and cleaned the machine shavings out of it! That'* why they fail, people buy them and bolt them on without any cleanup.

Just finished the fuel rails, had two small pinholes. Used L36 fuel rails and moved the brackets around, cut to over-the-top line as you can see, welded on -6AN fittings, etc.

No more leaks. I will write a start-up program tonight... stay tuned!

It'* a '96 4T60E car, so I have to use the '97 4T65E pcm to run the 4T80E. if it doesn;t work for some reason, i will use the diesel truck 4L80E stand-alone tcm to run the trans. DHP Powertuner.
