Hey, what'* up? I haven't been on here in a long while.

I bought a new (to me) snowmobile. A 95 Yamaha Vmax 600. I know nothing about snowmobiles. So it'* been fun getting it running right and cleaning it up.

My GTP has been running great. I took Up North a couple weekends back. Did great and I had blast road tripping that car.
Up at the family cottage.

What'* this sand hill in the backyard...

Oh, it'* a lake.

You guys know how picky I am about my cars and stuff. The Bose logo on the speak cover was bugging me.

Not too bad for a bit of free hand work eh?

And I am racking up the miles and having a blast doing it. I may hit 100k this year.

Suspension is still stock, I still don't plan on lowering it. Too many dirt roads around here.

i had a 348 yamaha for a while and the vmax was the machine you would go drool on when you were in the dealer getting parts back then.

took the firebird to a end of the summer cruise in yesterday. didnt take pics i always feel weird taking pics of other peoples cars but there was a early 60'* buick wild cat, lowered had side pipes, 18in torque thrusts. really liked that. there were two of the new stingrays, one was a coupe in that forest green, the other was a targa. i liked the targa. they look pretty cool except the headlights they come off as cheap huge plastic junk like the ones on my 07 monte.

My neighbor said that Vmax was the machine he really wanted back in '95, but it was too much money.

We bought a new washer and dryer a few weeks ago and since they are large capacity the drums sit very low and are deep. The wife said it was straining her back to do wash and wants to get the stands you can buy to elevate the machines. Yeah well they are 250.00 bucks a piece on top of the 1800.00 on the machines to begin with. I told her I would come up with something so I went to the steel yard and put my fabrication stills to use and came up with this. I have a wood top to stain and bolt to the frame yet and I will post pics when it'* completed but here is how far I am now.

No we didn't feel it here but a few of my wife'* freinds live in the area and were woken up by it and had a few pictures come off of the walls. Funny you mention the quake, today on the news they reported the first causality from it. Apperently a lady was hit by a falling television and reported she was having headaches since, turned out to be a brain hemorrhage and she died. It'* lucky a quake that big only resulted in one death.

Very creative, they should hold up, unless your washer spins like mine does, I have a Whirlpool - Duet Sport 3.4 Cu. Ft. 7-Cycle Ultra Capacity Washer, and if I set the spin speed to high, it sounds like the machine is going to take flight, lol
It does not shake really though, well not much anyway, I got it level, it is just that it spins so fast on that final spin.
