I'm in the process of swapping out the fuel lines on a Chevy 7500. The ones that connect to both fuel tanks and feed the main lines. Ya know, the ones that straddle the frame, hide in the frame cross member and are rigid steel lines? I'm contemplating asking if we can cut the box u-bolts and move the 23ft box back a foot.

Who the heck designs this stuff and intentionally places it so you can't repair it easily anyways?
