What did you do with your car/truck or shop today? V3.0
Thanks guys. According to the fuel gauge witch appears to be working. There isn't a lot of fuel in the tank. So when I do get around to starting it up I will disconnect the fuel line at the carb and see what gets pumped out of it if anything at all. (I plan on replacing the pump anyway).
It will be a fun project for sure.

tried to do front hubs on my old mans silverado this weekend and beat on it all day. ended up having to take it to a shop, never had one that stood up to the 8lber with a acetylene torch. it is a 2wd and has all metal back and is rust welded to the spindle.

Wow, that must be one corroded assembly. What tool does a shop have that is going to beat the torch?
i just have a hvac torch, only makes thick steel kinda red if you hold it there a while. they have oxy-acetylene that can cut through metal if they wanted. picked it up yesterday kinda made me feel bad took him 3 hours.
