You're absolutely right. That sums up a lot of things I have wanted to type out. Thanks!

I'll keep poking them and letting you guys know what happens. As much as it is annoying to have something like this happen, it'* really funny to go back and see post dates, time intervals between posts, and the amazing page count over the wrong clear corners. This thread helps negate most bad feelings about this. Thanks a lot, guys.

Haven't seen this thread for awhile and am sad to see it is still not resolved. Bugsi has given you great advice. The negative feedback is the best leverage you have on them and it amazes me they think someone would change it to positive before they have the situation resolved. It is very possible many people have had a similar experience with this vendor and therefore, their positive feedback ratings do not accurately reflect customers experience with them. Many may have been the result of the "extortion" you experienced. Good luck.

Default HOLY FREAKING IMPROVEMENT!!!!

Check this out!!!
Dear Customer:

Thank you for your offer. We will go ahead and process a refund for you. But we would really need the negative feedback remove by this month. Please let us know if there'* anything we can do about this.

Thank you
Karen

What is that? Does this mean I get to keep the weird clear corners and yet get the money back? That would be weird. How do you see this, considering that I copied & pasted Bugsi'* letter and got this as a response? I think they'd probably want this shipped back and then get a refund. They're also gently implying that by the end of the month, they want the negative feedback wiped out. Interesting.

It is confusing. They don't address your returning the package at all. The end of the month comment seems to be an effort to get you to do it perhaps before you receive the refund. I wouldn't fall for that. From an Ebay Feedback standpoint, it is meaningless. It'* not like Feedback is tallied by how many you get in a month. I wonder if you should send them a link to this thread? I'd think they'd like to see it end amicably.

that weird, i dont get the within a month thing, wait, does feedback get set in stone after a month or something? even if you do get your money back they should still get negative feedback, since this has been some bad customer service IMO.

Extorsion is illegal. Report it to ebay and watch their account go bye-bye..but then so does your refund.

I'd reply with "The negative feedback will be removed once the account has been properly settled to my satisfaction."

And then not change anything since those last two words says it all.

I'm starting to feel bad for them. It seems they had a working formula for other customers by which they'd get an order, and then order clear corners sent to the address of the buyer. Perhaps this is the one time it'* gone bad, and already they've lost money on a shipping label, and perhaps soon another. Also, they will refund the money for all this, and yet my negative feedback may have interested people in contacting them about what happened. Business may have slowed down. Plus, they've probably lost all the potential customers who have read through this thread, now five pages. It'* looking pretty bad.

I have no response to the latest email. It may be the weekend. Should I be doing anything but waiting? When do you think I should contact eBay - after the refund?
