Well, I provided the reason the moment I read the message, and as of yet, I have no answer. It'* Monday, though, and they may not have weekend support, so I'm all right with this, I think. How long after I win an auction do I have to review the product I bought? I'm tomorrow going to write to them that if I don't get a replacement with the right product, they're getting a terrible review, the money somehow taken back, and a phone call or two. How else can this be handled?

Go to your ebay home page and click on the "Dispute Console" follow instructions to lodge a complaint with Ebay. That should get their attention. Large volume dealers like that do not want to run afoul with Ebay. If you paid with Paypal, I think you can dispute through them also. Do not allow him to get away with this

Choose words you use wisely, being negative can make them not want to fix it. I'd say something along the lines of that you are part of this club here, and that a few members bought from him before and were happy with them, and that you know this must be an honest mistake and ask him to fix it since there are quite a few more members wanting these (just add that in to make him want to expedite the fix).

I've dealt with customer service from so many companies in so many different fields, you'd be amazed what I can get. I got a refurbished $1,000 HP laptop (on ebay) and it ended up turning into a brand new $2,000 laptop from them because of a defective keyboard and I knew how to talk (dealt with HP on that). You must be positive and nice....to the very bitter end, it'll make them want to help you more....just remember that.

I typed that at my college'* library today, and then I went home. When I got home, I got a message in which they told me they're shipping to me a return label. That is pretty cool. Do I have the payment covered, or is it just a piece of paper to let it ship back properly?

And thanks for all this great feedback here. It'* really helping out. Thanks a lot!

Return labels, if I remember correctly, usually are prepaid....you'd just need to provide box, but don't quote me on it. And just for my knowledge, what did you type to them? What I suggested or?

You chimed in just a bit too late, so I didn't think to bring in the BC.

Correspondence:

Dear Customer:

Please provide us the reason of why you want to exchange for the item.

I didn't save my end on this, I think. I'm not sure.

Dear Customer:

We apologize about this matter. We have issued you a retrun label to your email. Please sent the whole set of the item back to us. As soon as we receive the item back into our warehouse, we will process a replacement for you.

Thank you
Karen Chiu,

There it is. I'll see if I can find what I wrote to them.
