The progress is outstanding. That engine looks insanely new. Must sound amazing!

Only one gripe... that Fram filter better not be on there permanently I wouldn't wish a fram filter on an engine I WANTED to kill.

What happened with the transmission? Read through the thread completely and noticed the thrust washer was found in pieces in the pan and filter...but didn't see anything about it being rebuilt, fixed, etc?

Oh, and most important, have a great trip!!!

Also, the underhood bulb only works when the headlights/parking lamps are on. The theory on that is...you don't need the underhood light during the day

Thanks for that info Sandrock.

My wife got the high mount light fixed in my absence.

I am having Bonne withdrawal symptoms already now that I'm half way around the world away from my rides.
Taxis buses and subway trains is all I get now for the next 6 weeks. :(

So far the project is going great..........my laptop died the first day I arrived
My Spanish is improving and the Vino here is fantastic ..........more than I can say for their beer.
