I believe in trust, too. Hector and I, over the course of the last year have seen timeslips, pics, video, and dyno sheets. It seems that someone has uncovered some interesting sources for some of the dyno sheets. I think there is an explanation in order.

I've bent over backwards, as have the other Admins of this site, to preven flames. One of the ways we do that is by treating everyone with trust and respect. Especially when they send proof. The difficult part of the job with a smaller membership roster, is verification. You have to take what'* given at face-value, especially when the sheer amount of 'verification' is so overwhelming.

In light of the dyno sheets, I think we need to hear from Turtle personally.

Guys, i'm not sure he doesnt have a point. Look at the dyno charts. They are EXACTLY the same as the ones posted for Turlte'* runs. I'm not one to start something but i'm also not one to sit back and be fed false information

Agreed, I hope we haven't been played however in light of this evidence its natural to be skeptical.

The thing about us (for the CGP members watching this thread) is that we have faith in our membership and have only be best intentions. That aside....its time for real proof and an explanation. :?

Lets control the flaming and realize that we both would like to get to the bottom of this.

I agree with Jim and Willwren, but that user pimp something, seemed like it was some other user that was trying to be sneaky which is not cool at all! The best bet would for turtle to talk to us.

Sorry for not introducing my self first, I saw a link to this thread on another 3800 site. I'm the owner of a '98 Monte Carlo z34, with the ZZP Stage 3 CSC kit. I've put a lot of hard work and sweat into my car, and it'* a shame that someone has to lie about dyno runs to get popularity. If he does have the car he says he does, then fine. But don't post bogus dyno charts to try and prove something.

Jim brings up a good point.....for those watching from GlubGP, we have a strict no-flames policy and a place of respect here. This is what the site owner intends for this place. Our no-flames policy is VERY strict for that reason, and the atmosphere is alot more relaxed because of it.

A former Admin that owns a performance shop and myself have been given Turtle'* verfification off and on for over a year now. It wasn't until recently that I was able to convince Turtle to post his Dyno sheets. With a membership of 2000, and no other members nearby, it makes it next to impossible to personally verify by any other means, any performance claims here. We tend to take the photos, vids, timeslips, and dyno sheets at face value if they tend to back each other up. There is no other way to do it with a membership this small (in comparison to ClubGP for instance).

Alot of stress is put on trust and mutual respect here, and we haven't been burned on the trust part YET. It'* inevitable for that to happen sometime, and it may have already. I'll be the most pissed off member here if this turns out to be true. But along with the trust and respect comes Turtle'* chance to speak on the subject of the Dyno sheets, before he'* picked apart here.

Will,

Do you talk to Turtle often? I would like to see him clear this up ASAP, and end this debate.

Despite the difficulties we have had with CGP, and its unfortunate, but you have brought to light some credible evidence and our faith in this member is in question. I can appreciate honest hard work to bring forth this evidence, so thank you for that.

Everyone needs and deserves and explanation. Active members on BC backed Turtles' claims due to the nature of this board. Administration backed Turtles claims as well because of a social dialogue that existed between willwren and Turtle_SSE

If we have to eat our words and indeed if we have been played, then lets bring forth some explanation and find out the real story.

Let separate the men from the boys and discuss this new scenario we find ourselves in.

Turtle does indeed have a very fast car, that has been verified by more than just me. It'* obvious now that these are not his dynos, but how much else is screwy here, we won't know until we hear from Turtle.
