You adjust the link arm to the ELC, There are 2 locking nuts and and a center turnbuckle, spread the 2 ball joints apart simulates a load and the cars rear rises. Take a rough measurment first before adjusting so you know where to put it back. I've done this twice and needed a bit of wd40 to loosen the turnbuckle.
Here'* a pic of the ELC control sensor and link arm.

Turtle is stepping very carefully. The last time this went public, it was ugly. The GP guys don't want to believe that the fastest L36 lives and breathes in a Bonneville. Turtle isn't in it for the publicity. It'* a toy for him and the boys.

And the wife Pam likes the car!

I've been looking under there and tried moving the arm, but don't seem to be bable to do anything. How does it work (to trick it that is). I am thinking about running out and meeting up with whiskey at Rock Falls on April 3rd and would like to know how to do this so I can practice launches with it before I hit the track.

im not saying he should go over to the GP owners and rub it in their faces, but it would be nice for us. I sure as hell would like to see pics of it. If some of the GP owners cant handle it, tough.

I think we should all be proud (which I'm sure we all are) to have Turtle back with his insane car, yet at the same time we should also keep our feelings intact and not try to start stuff. Please, it isn't anyone'* car but Turtles, so let not start something all over after it has been buried once (finally).

Let'* keep our name as a user friendly forum and keep Turtle active by not starting unneccesary ranting on other boards.

P.*. Let'* get this back on topic now.

Honestly, Turtle should have a video with his 1/4 run and the time at then end, along with the timeslip scanned, also depending on the dyno set up, #'* may not be 100% accurate, We have run into this when we dynoed some GP'*. I am not trying to start anything, but those are some pretty large numbers to believe on the internet. Also there would be no question if he is the fastest, even over any GTP'*.

GTX, Turtle is 100% verified. Just not publicly. He prefers it that way. There are faster GP'*, simply because Turtle hasn't figured out the traction problems yet.
