As the owner/driver of the fastest GP N/A SE in Texas, and very possibly the U.*., (not on the bottle cause that don't count), I am honored and thrilled to be a member of both boards. I congradulate turtle on his car and totally understand why you chose to do thingd as you have. The GP board is somewhat "different" from the Bonneville board. You have a lot of people over there who like to beat thier chest and feel one has to prove this or that. Over here you're accepted for what you say you did and thats it. If you're fabricating anything then its on you and your own imagination.

Back to the car:

Putting down that kind of power would deffinitly cause fuel and traction problems. Add to that the fact that our Bonnie'* are so much heavier that other 3800 powerd cars, (the L36 was a good choice as its not as heavey as an SSEi), and I can see how the car only put out a 13 secound performance. Its got to be a real monster to learn how to drive. And no role cage? Yeah he'd have to lift the foot out of the throttle in order to get even a few runs in at the track. That can be very exspensive! As it is I am very impressed with that car and do hope to learn more.

I was right there with you until you said that "Just not publicly." If he goes to any sanctioned 1/4 mile track, that'* public. All he needs to do is videotape the runs and there'* the verification. That also helps verify your dyno runs too when you have video showing the run and the screen. If you don't do this then everything posted is just an empty claim.

Personally I believe it because I know it'* possible. Also if he had the kind of expertise that'* claimed, this is very achievable. But if you don't verify it, you can't blame anyone who doubts it.

Congrats on a very nice dyno run.

Ok, but IT IS VERIFIED. so quit saying if it is or whatever. because it is. Not everyone has a video camera, or one they can hookup to their computer.

They're not empty claims, you'll need to accept that not everyone will do it the way you do.

What if he rigged up a all-wheel drive prototype to his car? Im sure it would be alot, but allready that much invested, might be worth it? Or does he lose traction taking corners to fast?

Look what I found when I went to dynospotracing.com, the place where his fist dyno run was supposedly done - http://www.dynospotracing.com/z06_stock.htm

Look familiar? I'll let you draw your own conclusions, but it makes me wonder where he got the other charts that he posted. BTW, dynospotracing is located in California, and Turtle in BC. The second dyno was done in North Carolina, and the third one done in Maryland. That'* quite a ways to travel to dyno your car.

Sorry bud, the story doesn't add up.

And the second dyno chart came from this page - http://www.waynesdyno.net/page2.html click on the chart next to the mustang.

Shall I continue? Two easy searches turned up 2 of 'his' dyno runs. Care to explain?

Hey pimp Um, welcome to the club, today! You should of introduced yourself properly in the Intro section, but somehow you knew to come here right away and post a comment like that. Hmmmm..... I suggest you just believe Turtle, not everything will be publicized on the net.

Proof isn't required here. Haven't you ever heard of trust? I am going to believe a man such as Turtle who has years of experience with cars. 700Hp is not BS in a 3800. It can happen very easily.
