Look around at other header... Ed McGrath said he saw similar things on Togs. I wouldn't know if the SLP'* had those issues..because I didn't disect and take 100 pictures of them.

I put them on.

My point here is.. things don't have to be pretty to work well. Take that for what it'* worth and hold onto your lunch if you get into my ugly mutt of a car.

Yeah the problems with my headers weren't that big in the end. I'm still unsure if all the little things I found with them are representative of every set of TOGs. Maybe I just got a Monday or Friday set.

My dad always jokes with me when I start a little project on my car saying "It would only take me 10mins with my Camaro and a 3/8 wrench." But he also says "It'* not race if you don't have problems." That being said you have to expect problems to arise with stuff like this.

The manufacture with the best product is the one which does it'* job the best and gives you the least headaches during install.

the install went pretty good after that. i have not had a chance to fire it up because i am still waiting for my w-body trans dipstick, but i will give my full thoughts at a later time.
sorry was away from my desk yesterday , looks like you didnt get the gasket , its a small egg shaped gasket

might want to take the box apart they came in just in case it slipped under the flap in the box

if not ill send you out 1 or 2 , just pm me
