Bought some parts online for the 04. With a possible job change/promotion in the near future, meaning getting up even earlier in the mornings, I opted to get a remote start. I'm going to attempt to take it up to a friends house, and get it done in the garage up there sometime soon. I have all the wiring schematics and the FSM, and I actually like wiring projects, so I should be able to do this on my own.
Also found some parts I needed online, and ordered those. Part of the transformation of this car from something I see copies of all around me, to something that stands out. Granted, I have the GXP suspension, but no one sees that. The visual and underhood stuff comes next.

Heading up north to see family, and install some stuff in my sisters 2000 Regal LS.
We got a ton of snow dumped on us last night and this morning, but the Blizzaks have been great so far in the stuff, so I'm not too worried about driving the hour and a half up there, then coming back before dark, or at least getting out of the city and into familiar territory.

My daughter brought here 98 jetta vr6 down last week so I could repair it after it was hit in the drivers door the insurance co totaled it . she bought the car back from ins co I had just put on 4 new tires . I just got done pulling out the sill panel and hung the new door and put front fender back on the car and installed door glass and new regulator. Now have to find out why it will not idle at all when cold it cranks and fires and runs but no idle.

That engine bay looks sweet.

I got mine cleaned today after a road trip from a weekend snowmobiling trip. I had to break out the hose and blast the under side to remove and salt. Now it'* 50 outside. So at least I got to go once. I probably won't get to do any ice fishing. The lake isn't even frozen.

I had to shampoo the trunk. Then I noticed some rusty screws, so I polished them up.

Left work the other day in the Bonneville, it was cold, below zero. I glanced at my scan gauge and noticed the trans fluid temp was 1* All of a sudden it shifted really hard and the SES light came on. Engine seemed fine, so I eased it home. Stumbled when I came to a stop. I manually shifted and didn't have to much trouble. I suspected the problem, but checked the code when I got home. Torque converter stuck on. Next day, it ran fine. Guess it was to cold.
