I have no idea what it is that could be doing it. All I know it'* one of the ballasts I got from Brian when I bought my retro'd lights that I used when the DDM ballast kept blowing bulbs. But, I can get a whole new digital set from DDM for only $55 so I think I might just do that.
Hey wasn't that ballast suppose to come back to me after you got your DDM replacement? I still have the 2nd one that goes with that Xentec lol.

I have a couple from my truck that I can use until the GF wants to shell out money for the small ones.

Lol don't worry about it. I don't have projectors so it'd just sit around anyways. I'll probably get Xentec Slims off ebay when I get projectors again and just use this other ballast as a backup

All HIDs seem to be hit or miss. I had good luck with Xentec. I've known people who had bad luck with both Xentec and DDM

Replaced the Xentec ballast with a DDM one. Color is still effed up, means its a bulb. However, the flickering and bounce went away. Also, it'* brighter now.

I just submitted a claim to DDM for a bad ballast in my truck. It was making this horrible clicking noise when it was trying to ignite, and then not igniting.
