What did you do with your car/truck or shop today?
Oh, interesting. Mine don't do that either. I've just noticed the light output on the ground from driver side is a little less bright than my passenger side, and sometimes its color changes. I've seen the light output on the ground be more yellowish, and sometimes more purpleish. From outside (looking at the headlight) the color doesn't change. I have no idea what it is that could be doing it. All I know it'* one of the ballasts I got from Brian when I bought my retro'd lights that I used when the DDM ballast kept blowing bulbs. But, I can get a whole new digital set from DDM for only $55 so I think I might just do that.
Replaced rear struts. I guess I need to align my driver side rear tire still. Looks off.

Bolts and nuts came out with ease. Not too bad for a 22 year old MI car.

It sits up really high in the back now. Causing the front end to sit pretty low.

I heated the top ones up, just in case they weren't going to come out.
I drove on it a little more since I took that picture. It seems to have straightened out a bit. But not to a point I'd be comfortable with.
I'll mess with it tomorrow and see if I can get it perfect.

From: "Upstate" NY. Where cows outnumber people

Went to work, drifted around the parking lot, pissing off the plow guys, worked, then came home. Went down to the local wash, and gave my poor girl a bath. Poor car is about to turn 150,000 soon.
Got some of my ordered parts in. Still trying to figure out where I can do a remote start. Don't know if I'll get up to my friends place to his garage or not. It may just have to wait till spring, when I can do it outside here.
Had to do some of the replacement parts in the dark by head lamp, so hopefully they look good in the morning.
No sense in posting photos. What I've done so far, no non-LeSabre owner would be able to pick out anyway. Middle of winter, and she gets dirty 2 feet out of the car wash anyway. I had so much dirt going in this morning, I had to roll down the windows to check for oncoming traffic a few times. That'* how bad the roads here are.

Put a trans in that el camino today. The owner picked it up took it down the road and back and didnt make it quite back..went from first to second (hard) i heard him grab second then nothing.Went and milked it back via 4th gear.pulled the trans out and found the front main and secondary gears to be damn near smoothly round.Luckily a buddy of mine had another m20 he sold him..but its back on the road and is better than before

well, i just spent about $5 at the self serve carwash and stuck the power washer straight in the crack between the trunk lid and the body. this was the result.

i had it directly in the crack for a good minute or so. enough waterpressure to make me work to keep a hold on the wand. i dont know how i got so much water in there to sink my spare tire and get mold. maybe one of the dogs hit my clicker one night when it was raining and someone closed it lol.
