Still driveable?

I dunno. Home is 120 miles away. The whole exhaust is hanging too low, the lowest part being the * curve at the rear axle, maybe 3-5 inches off the ground. I don't see or feel any leaks where the DP connects to the manifold

Are you sure this car came with stainless exhaust? that would be news to me.

for your tranny, the only real damage I can see is your parking pin. Since the car was not in motion, the parking pin in engaged preventing the car from moving, so if it does move then all the pressure would hit that pin. So as long as you car still goes into park and doesn't roll away I would guess you are fine.

93? Yes, absolutely sure. As I recall, it was one of their big selling points. In fact I beleive that all GM cars from the early 90s on got stainless exhausts. I know for a fact that the H-bodies got it in 92, same with the C-bodies, and the W-bodies since 97(possibly earlier, not sure), and the G-bodies' last 2 generations. The F-bodies I beleive got SS exhausts when they came out with the last generation.
It will get surface rust, from the heat, but it won't rust through like regular pipe will. That'* why you almost never hear anyone on here complain about their muffler falling off!

Ummm maybe that works for the dealer. But when i worked at maaco and there was an insurance job, EVERYTHING was replaced OEM and done perfect.
Your gonna need to obiously paint the bumper and there gonna have to blend it into the 1/4 and possibly up into the roof (if they do it right). But try and get the whole car painted with 2 stage base clear. Tell them you want the hood, roof and trunk stripped and everything finished off with 500 grit sand paper. and see if they will cut and buff it after they paint it like It bmsgaffer86 had done. It will come out looking like glass.
But i really think your bumper support is bent, i mean look at the thing and it might have to go on a frame machine. But get a OEM or used bumper. Aftermarket parts are real cheap sometimes.
How does your drivers side rear door close? any different? Hows alignment? and watch your window seal near the 1/4 too.
As for the exhaust(except back axel back), i doubt it cant be fixed unless it'* cracked somewhere besides the hangers.

whoooa easy there. There'* no way i can convince anyone to repaint the car. Even if i wanted to, the only person i would trust to do it is my dad. I've seen bad Maaco and Ziebart jobs where masking tape gets left in the cracks, etc. Anyway, the scratch on the quarterpanel is just where the bumper used to rub. I'll check it out for warpage tomorrow. The trunk not closing well worries me about the frame.

this is probably the worst thing that'* happened to me in my life. This car is my life. Several years ago when a dog jumped on it and i went home to find scratches, i beat the barn door until both fists were bloody. (the scratches waxed out the next day) My mom even told me that if i put as much time into a girl as i do the car, she'd press charges for stalking. i was working on it when it got hit for crying out loud. :( [/depression]

if you beat your fists untill they were bloody when you had a couple scratches......don't kill yourself over a car. Go lift or run 5 miles or something.
