Damn that really sucks. Id be all over the **** that would do this.

Hope all goes well in the recovery process. Look at it this way, at least you get a new muffler and a new coat of paint.

id bring it to dealership and autobody shop just get a few estamits and u choose the highest ones to show the insureance. but how do u get them to give u the money?

i think they'll just give it to you after you show them two different estimates. My roomate got rear ended once, and he straightened his bumper himself and pocketed the 500 they allowed for the repair.

The car is loud as hell now. I'm gonna have to see where the exhaust is rubbing the car before i drive home and melt the rustproofing on my floorboards. Luckily it looks now like there'* no damage to the quarter panel.

Well i wasn't thinking too clearly, but i didn't think you can still get OEM SSE/i tails?

whoever has a GREAT reputation for body work. make sure they've been around for a few years. dont pay as much attention to the repair cost as you should the quality of the work.

You have the right to take it to 2 places of YOUR choosing for estimates. Most insurance companies go by competitive bid so make sure the estimates are detailed. And they will have to provide you with a rental while yours is in the shop.
