Not much more I can say that hasn't already been said, except geez...sorry I didn't know about this earlier (thanks a lot all my FRIENDS
...for not letting me know he was hurt).
I can tell though, that your positive attitude is your greatest asset and is what will pull you through it all. You have a long healing road ahead of you, but are young and obviously resilient.
As was asked already, do you have any particular interests...I.E. reading, computer games, programing, DVDs, etc., that you can focus on to use your "down" time on?

My dad broke his right foot several years ago and had it in a cast. He just drove with his left foot for the time being. I know there is a big difference between a foot and an entire leg, but there is hope! Keep up the good attitude! Best of luck to you!

Hans I am very sorry to hear about all of this. Though I have never met you, you have been a great contributor to this forum and have helped enormously. Best of luck in a speedy and successful recovery.
BTW Potatohead..
Would you please correct the title.
One minute I think you are paralyzed..
A day or so later it sounds like your leg was amputated...
C'mon buddy.. stop FREAKIN SCARIN ME!!!!
So far it sounds like things look "possible" for you to use your leg again.
