well I just wanted to thank everybody for the advice and kind words. Its crazy to see how you guys care about me like I'm someone you talk to face to face everyday, sadly enough I'd probably care about anyone here if they had a bad situation like this.
So thanks for the kind thoughts.
Anyways. I am back from the specialist and he says I have a bad tibial nerve and a bad peroneal nerve. this means I am numb in the foot and cannot move my foot in any direction. the nerves are most likely just stretched and may come back, it depends they may not.
This does present a slight problem in surgery with the replacement/work of the LCL tendon. The nerves are right there and it will be very dificult to operate. It turns out that they may want to give it a while....1-6 months possibly to do the second surgery. I do go for my first surgery on tuesday to fix some of the other damage and to get a look inside, it sounds like they are going to tear most of the skin off just to get a look. they will also try to find out what exactly the story is. the mri'* cant tell everything. So its going to be a shorter surgery, it wont really help the pain that much but it will help some of the knee fix itself.
As of right now I'm still alive, however living pretty much alone, loosing balance on crutches
the topic title is not politically correct, it is actually called paralasys (sp?) along with a full knee dislocation.
The major downfall is that the bonneville will not be driven for a long time. as little as several weeks to several months. if it was not my right leg I'd be fine. Anyway going into surgery monday at the University of Utah Medical Center.

Back off, Bitch, I'LL excersise the car for him.
Hans, I tried to work your Dad over, but I'm not sure I was succesful. Not even the "but even MERCEDES uses the Eaton" really had an effect.
Sorry man. I let you down. :(

Hey Hans, just caught wind of what happened to ya, guess thats what I get for living under a rock
you'll handle this with one hand tied behind your back. Modern Medicine is wonderful and making strides all the time, my new lens implants in my eyes are already old technology, and since knees are all important sports tools to athletes, think of all the money and brainiac thats devoted, COMMITTED to fixing injuries like this.
Take Care!

I'm very impressed with your composure. You're not losing it like some people would, living in constant worry, etc. You always hear stories how people had a will to fight cancer and they beat it, hopefully this pulls out for you.
Thankfully xCL type of injuries are fairly recoverable from, sports medicine has brought them a long way. Instead of career ending for say an NFL player, it knocks you out of action for 9 months. As i said before, best of luck!
