Glad to see an update from you. I was getting worried. If anybody can overcome this injury and fully recover, I know it will be you.

I was also pleased to see your update. Looks like the prognosis is iffy at this time, but keep hammering away. Experimental techniques are better than no options at all.

We'll keep thinking of you, so do keep us up to speed on things.

Keep the faith!

Hans is one tough guy.
Here he is after only a day of coming out of surgery fighting the haze of drugs but still taking the time to update us on his progress.

the Peroneal Nerve was completely torn in half, resulting in loss of the lack of ability to push the foot down
You will simply have to remove the throttle return spring and keep it floored all the time.

On a positive note, just look at all the time you will have to spend on the computer and modifying your engine.

I'm on my way home from ID right now. I was planning to drop by and harass the Spud-buddy, but the people loading my backhaul jerked me around for seven MFing hours and ruined any chance I had of getting over there.

Cyclobenzaprine, Diazepam, Vicodin AND Oxycodone? Wow. You are DRUGGED UP man!

I take Cyclobenzaprine, Diazepam and Vicodin on a daily basis and those usually have me pretty messed up. Except I take 2 500 mg Vicodins every 4 hours instead of the 325s you have.

But umm, nice they have you on Oxycodone, that must just kill that pain like no other. Very nice. I took that for a while, but it kinda made me a little nauseous.

Looks like you are making good progress, thats a great thing, hopefully it will all turn out 200% better than predicted.

Good luck!

Keep your spirits up Hans. One way or another, you'll get through this.
