Yeah - Those are milliamps. What brand & model is the meter?

I checked Sperry'* website & that meter doesn't have the 10 amp range. If you want to drive down here you can use mine but with the price of gas a new meter is probably cheaper.

You're a riot!. Curious question for you: I decided to use the drivers side ground bus as an actual ground for a test light (to see if it was fully grounding), and touched the tip of the test light to the positive side of a courtesy lamp that was on, and POP, all my interior lights went out... I'll check the fuses obviously, but why would that happen?

The test light plus all the other lights that were on must have exceeded the amperage of the fuse. If the test test light uses an LED it may blow a fuse if the polarity is reversed.

Default another positive thing

I was just able to program & operate the new key fob remote that I bought(never had one for this car). That is fine as long as the interior lights/locks, and DIC chimes happen to be in operational mode, but when they get sporadic again, the remote will be useless. First things first, try to find the huge power drain, so I can drive the car again without the Autoclub truck having to follow me for a boost.

No led bulb in the test light, old fashioned 1/4 watt auto bulb. Plus there was quite a big spark when I made contact.

Any chance you shorted the pos & neg terminals on the courtesy light?

just replaced the fuse for the lamps, they work again. Still have not been able to find the cause of the power drain. Another strange thing (there seems to be many of them), now when I start the car (never before today), my I/P shows Traction Off, and the button does nothing, as well as the DIC showing parking, turn signal & tail lights out.

How are you searching for the power drain without a meter?
