Here'* where the PCV valve is located. Should be less than $5.00. Make sure gasket, spring & 0 ring are all in good shape.

thank god a PCV valve sounded like somethin that would be a couple hundred to fix/replace

It'* a very simple device that (among other things) prevents pressure from building in the crankcase. If pressure is building up in the crankcase you will get oil leaks.
