ok, sorry for no progress update lately guys, but really there has'nt been much progress. just research progress. havent had time to wrench. benn many home improvements. only drove the p/a once in the past couple weeks.
the eng runs great,
but heres the issue, the trans is shifting rather hard. the worst, or hardest shift is 2nd to 3rd. but all shifts are far from smoothe.
at first i thought the prom i had was set for the wrong gear ratio, so i was searching for a new one. in that search i found that i have the 2.97 gr (trans code 3cxw). and the prom i have from a 92 ssei (azyu) is correct for this gr.
so, where do i start? maybe the modulator?
any thoughts are appreciated guys, TIA

and when i took out the old one, i immediately knew that was my problem. look how bent it is.
with the new/old one, it shifts very nice. just as it should. i am so glad it was the first thing i tried. that never happens.
but i noticed today that i forgot about a line on the bcs. now forgive the crude simplicity of my ms paint skills, but...
...the yellow is the open one i dont know where it connects to. and just to double check the other vac lines, i have the red circled line from the bcs, to the vac tee on the sc closest to the front. the green is to show the bcv line to the vac tee closer to the throttle body. the blue, thats a given, that goes from the bcs to the bcv. are those correct?
