after running the scanner for a little while, i got my code 13 problem taken care of.

but now ive noticed a code 56. which is a quad driver B fault

in the live data it displays qdB ok, then as soon as i press the brake pedal, it says bad. and as soon as i let up on the pedal, it says ok again?

so where do i start?

problem solved. thanks to a pm by don, informing me that the quad drive module b controls the

"TCC Solenoid, The A or B shift solenoid, The EGR Solenoids or the Boost Solenoid...

So the PCM is seeing something not right with one of the above.."
and my first reply was, ohh, duhhh.

i had the boost solenoid bypassed, so the bcv was only controlled by eng vac. i hooked it up this morning and whallah, no eng code.

so big thanks to Don,(jrs3800)

I am absolutely floored. You have a 100% clean engine swap with no codes and everything functioning properly. That'* awesome. When do the roller rockers and porting & polishing come in? I can't wait until that thread!

If you ever get a new neighbor, properly introduce him to your car. You don't want him to hear the whine one day and then become that creepy guy because of whom you have to get out of bed, get your broom, and shoo him away from your car. Every hour or more frequently during the night. Every night.

I asked about the roller rockers because aside from the SC pulley, I couldn't find any other S1 3800 mod on ZZP Good timing on the porting since it'll probably get so inexcusably cold now that I can't even imagine wanting to have a car anymore. I need a fun winter beater, actually.
