Default Performance PCM for 95 SE?

I have a 05 SE with the following mods in my sig. I already contacted Intense about a PCM but they dont offer anything for the 95. What are my options for a PCM? Since I put my 180 t-stat in, my fans stay on all the time. I was thinking the PCM would fix that. Do I need a custom chip burned or what? I know that 95 is the OBD 1.5 my options are limited.

Your fans shouldn't be reliant on the thermostat unless it reaches 216F-228F. Check the second temp sender.

On the pcm, GM Tuners is one possibility. I know 95NASTA and TJ'* are both well versed in having chips done or have looked into it.

Yep. Check out Sinsiter Performance (GMtuners).
Ryan is a great guy to deal with and he will keep working with you untill your satisfied.

Edit, on second thought.
If all you want is the fans to be on all the time, you can do that with a simple relay.
If you just want the option to turn the fans on whenever you want, I've pretty sure TJ did that to his 95.

My temp gauge hasnt gone about 180. Is that one controlled by the sender on the lower intake? Where is the other temp sensor at?

My main reason for wanting a PCM to take better advantage of the increased airflow in my motor. I know that there is a lot more be be unlocked, but the PCM is holding it back. The car runs real strong with the ported heads and intake. And my modified upper intake runners are working great too.

Dude, You could stand to gain a little in fueling iirc, also might be able to add a bit of timing..

If you have the dead on stock 1995 EPROM you should shift out of first at 49 Mph and the PCM should force that 1-2 shift at 5950 Rpms, 2-3 should come on at 89 and 5750 Rpms..

The Updated EPROM if you have it will force the 1-2 shift at 5750.... And will not let you have the 2-1 kickdown above 35mph..

But there are a few things you can play with.... The tables I have seen on the 95 PCM do nothing but send me into a ball of confusion...

I do believe that there are some things in the PCM that you could change to get a little more out of the car

I must have the dead stock PCM then. Cuz that is where mine shifts. Can Sinister burn my a custom PCM according to my mods then?

I don't think they will burn according to your mods...

You tell them what parameters you want changed and they will change those for you.. I myself am not far enough into the programming to understand even a little of what I see.. Its all a foreign language to me.. But I think GM tuners can explain all of that to you.. They are great people to ask questions and deal with, and have treated several people here really well
