Default JET Power Control Unit For 96 SE

I've been looking for PCM'* for my 96 SE and realize there isn't much out there for my year. I've read that My only choice is DHP. I've emailed them but they haven't gotten back to me as of yet. i just stumbled upon this Jet Power Train control Module and was wondering, if the DHP doesn't work out, is this thing worth buying, since it only changes the fuel curves.

I haven't heard anything about the Jet.. but the DHP is a darn good tuner for your car. Also have heard that typically DHP is a little slow as it'* a one man operation.

DHP Makes an EXCELLENT Tuner! i have the PowerTuner 1.24e.

The total time it took from date of order to having it in my hands was 9 days.

I know that the power tuner is a good choice for my car, but i don't know jack about programing a PCM so i figure a custom burned one is a better choice.

The programming aspect is relativly strait forward once you get the hang of it. for example if you want to change shift points, you open up the WOT and change your shift point to whatever you want it to be.

the JET is very limited on what it can do. For example i added performance shift to my car so that i can cruise around town in comfort and when i hit the button it changes the fuel, timing and transmission maps to maximum performance.

I also have been looking at DHP unit but I dont see an application guide for a 96 PA. Mine is non-SC. Does anyone know if the 97 model Bonneville will work for the 96?

PFYC has it all 96-2004 3800 as being supported,

Best thing to do would be email charles at DHP.

I did a quick browse of the DHP forum, and it seems that the 96 PA L36 is supported
