New Development!

I decided that if I wanted to make it to the fiero'* 25th anniversary in July, it would probably help to have an assembled engine that wasn't siezed up. I broke down and bought myself one of these.







Once I gather some more parts, I'll begin a build thread on the engine swap. I'm saving the S1 for a future turbo build in another fiero I have. I bought this engine because I wanted to drive my fiero to the 25th, we'll see if I make it

The engine came out of a 98 GTP. The salvage yard claimed it had 160 psi on all 6 cylinders, and it had 90k miles on it. Upon inspection of the inside of the valve cover, it looks to be in good shape from what I can see. I'm going to be pushing things to get this done in time, but I think that I might be able to make it. I might be relocating to Lincoln, NE in about a month or so, which is 3-4 hours east of here. If that'* the case I'll have more than enough money to get it done by mid-july (the job will pay a considerable amount more than my current one). I just received a new 96 camaro v6 flywheel today and I'll hopefully be taking it in next week to be machined. Once I get the spec stage 4 clutch (stage 3 with a non-sprung hub) and the mounts I'll be able to do a test fit .

Here'* the next question, is it a bad sign that the video card in my computer costs more than the engine in my car? [/code]
