pretty slick. the gm hu are always the weakest link in the system. the factory amp is good for the factory speakers but you will find that it cuts out sound in the low range as you turn it up. and its only like 12 to 15w per ch. for may its fine but to me it sounds much better with aftermarket speakers and an amp that has more power than a HU

i got my struts and the tower braces so i started on that, its been fighting me like a car that has been here for 15 years instead of 5 so going on day two of a couple hour strut job today

I pulled the Cutty out of the shed and got the GTP out of the garage.

Just some mild cleaning and going over what all needs to be done before the summer driving season.

Had to make the first repair on the Yukon today. In traffic I noticed in the reflection of the car in front of me that one of my DRL was out.

The other cool thing the previous owner did is he tapped into the XM receiver and added a aux input so I can listen to my phone or iPod. The down side is if I ever want to subscribe to XM again I need to undo what he did. I actually was a XM customer for 10 years but pandora is so much better that I cancelled XM and upped my data plan on my phone.

the early 2000 trucks eat drls, we had a few at work , seemed to have to replace them all the time. i think if it was my personal truck i would have put leds in it. here the bulbs only have to be on to not be bothered by cops so you dont have to be able to see far with it

That'* not a bad idea Justin, it'* the heat that takes out the DRL bulbs. The socket was discolored and I had to clean and tighten the contacts.
